Our society is infected with brutal disease of castism from many centuries and some struggling to abolish this while many still don't even care about it. 2000 years ago caste system didn't even exist in India. The current birth based caste system was created by British to divide Indians. There was only a Merit based Varna system. Govt. can't force anyone to stop associating themselves with different Caste, it just depended how liberal we are with other humans. Initially,different castes people were assigned different jobs which they were forced to abide.But, in current scenario if you consider this then, there is no need of the caste system.
Caste has become part of peoples lives and their mindset, so destroying it may not be easy. But, if you feel that,you are a true human, educated and contended with emotions, then its is high time to give up this old notion of caste system.Nature has made no difference in human beings. They all have same biology in body system and creates difference in wold by their art & creativity.Personally, I don not support this evil things like castism or racism.Prove your humanity by behavior. Happiness is in Consciousness of accepting whats right, not on Wealth or Social status (caste or establishment). I may not be aware the consequences of abolishing caste but i believe if we personally don't support it we could be able to accept humans by their inner beauty. We shouldn't wait till the date when Govt or any law will try to change mindset of people for caste system.As a human being its our moral responsibility to show humanity in society.If you have notions that caste is your identity,then let me tell you that you need to shade away your thinking.
I talked about my believe and personally in my 28 years of life I,never raised a question to anyone about their caste and I believe it isn't because of my life style or my liberal environment ,it just because of my father, who personally never supported this discrimination while associating with people.
At the end, lets assume if its end of day in world and there is not food or shelter around to protect yourself and in case you are lucky enough to get help from somebody to get food and shelter. After you realize that you are saved and got a new life ,then, what you going to do?..You will find the caste of person who helped you??
Don't care too much about what others think..Do what is good for humanity..Nature never created difference so you too stop doing..
